Been hired for a job? Then it's time to put together your sitter preparedness kit! This kit can fit into a small bag or backpack and includes just about everything you could need or want when heading out for a sitting job.
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- A First Aid kit including Band-Aids, antiseptic and gauze
- Vinyl gloves (for bad wounds)
- Aloe (for burns)
- Sunglasses (in case you have to drive in glare)
- Your driver's license
- Your auto insurance (if you are driving kids in your own car)
- A cell phone
- A car charger for your cell (again, if you'll be driving the kids)
- A flashlight
- Matches
- A notepad
- A pen
- Spare batteries
- Clean wipes
- Animal crackers
- A kids' video or DVD
- A kids' book
- Bubbles
- A clean shirt (if you are sitting for a baby)
- A printout of the Hemlich maneuver and how to do it
