Sittercity Makes the Inc. 500 List!
We are SO excited to be able to announce this, finally!! Sittercity.com has been named one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest-growing private companies in America, earning the 287th spot on the prestigious Inc. 500 list with a three-year sales growth of 961.9 percent.
Inc. Magazine has its highly coveted Inc. 5000 list that features the top 5,000 companies, so the Inc. 500 represents the top 10% of those corporations and gives them a special ranking, a ranking that we are unbelievably proud of.
“If you want to find out which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500,” said Inc. Editor Jane Berentson. “These are the most innovative, dynamic, fast-growing companies in the nation — the ones coming up with solutions to some of our knottiest problems, creating systems that let us conduct business faster and easier, and manufacturing products we soon discover we can’t live without. The Inc. 500 list is Inc. magazine’s tribute to American business ingenuity and ambition.”
Sittercity was also ranked 13th out of the top 100 companies in its region, and was ranked 15th out of the top 100 in its category of Consumer Products Companies.
We’re definitely excited and we’d like to take this time to say a heartfelt thanks to each and every one of our members!! You guys are awesome, and we truly appreciate your loyalty and enthusiasm for what we do. THANK YOU.

As a single father of four, Sittercity is #1!!! I could not have done it without all the great sitters and nannies I’ve met here. I searched countless news paper adds, tens of churches, friends, put up fliers at work and several local businesses. I inquired at all the state and government offices, even through my employers employee assistance program. As a single parent, not looking for financial assistance, just resources to find support groups or guides to find nannies or sitters, there was really now help out there other than Sittercity. All the other resources I found were a waste of mine and more importently my childrens time.
I do think it would be great to see Sittercity as a resource provided to employees by their HR department even if they were just a link from their web page.
Thankyou Sittercity, for the idea that created this resource! You just keep making it better!!!
