 Background Checks!Sittercity.com has added an exciting new feature that has been a big hit with both parents and sitters: background checks! Background checks let parents run a check on prospective sitters to give them peace of mind before connecting with a new sitter. Sitters also have the ability to run reports on themselves and add the report to their profile page to allow parents to see the results. We're really excited about this new functionality, and based on the number of reports that have been run, you're excited too! |

World's Largest Playgroup
BabyTalk's November 29th World's Largest Playgroup event in New York City at the JCC on the Upper West Side in Manhattan was a huge hit! The Sittercity Team provided a free stroller valet service for hundreds of parents. For those that are not familiar with it, the World's Largest Playgroup is an event put on by our friends at BabyTalk Magazine that features complimentary music classes, live entertainment, exciting activities, free product samples and demonstrations and more! There were hundreds of parents and children that took advantage of the event and we had a great time meeting and talking to almost every last one of them, all while parking their strollers and handing out sippy cups!
