Dear Mom and Dad:
My name is Yvonne Alemán García. I am married to my husband of 25 years with whom I’ve raised two adult daughters and one teenaged son; Erica, Alexis and Kristopher. We are doting grandparents to Jessica, Jordan, Alessandra and Sofia. I’m from Dallas; born and raised, and live in East Dallas.
I’ve worked as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for over 25 years and after having been laid off from my last job, I’ve decided I’ll look for employment in the private sector as a Nanny/Personal Assistant.
I’m hoping to meet a family with whom I can build a trusting and long lasting relationship while caring for your family’s personal needs.
Going into this line of work, I understand and respect the importance of discretion and boundaries; equally, the importance of being a positive role model during a child’s formative years.
Your family should feel comfortable knowing that I will abide by rules and schedules set forth in the home.
I am available to work 40+ hours a week, beginning as early as 7:30 am, if necessary; up to 15 hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays. I will work holidays and overtime for an additional fee.
If I am employed to provide care for your child(ren), I should not be required to do any house work or preparing of meals, except for the child(ren). My objective is to focus first and foremost on the child(ren).
My number one priority is my family, but as an employee who will build a relationship with a family, I will do my very best to bond with these members so that I will be seen as an extended member of their family and not just someone who is providing a service.
I’ve listed below services I will offer:
- Drive children to and from activities/appointments
- Spend nights/weekends, with children, while you travel (I must be allowed to travel to my home, accompanied by your children, to check on things, if necessary)
- House/pet sit
I am Certified in CPR (Adult, Child and Infant), AED (Defibrillator), First Aid, and SIDS/Childhood Development/Shaken Baby. I have also submitted an application to the State of Texas to be able to operate a Registered Home Daycare Center, out of my home. I am awaiting a response for an inspection.
