Bio

I'm a responsible, mature 28 year old from Wisconsin, having recently moved to Portland.  I'm the oldest of four children, so playing caretaker has been a natural lifelong role for me.  After receiving certification, I began babysitting when I was 12, mainly helping four families (infant to age 9) between junior high and college.  I also nannied in the D.C. metro area, taught Spanish to elementary school children, and volunteered with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization.  Though my professional career is not related to childcare, I could certainly send you my resume and/or references for a glimpse of my background, character, and additional volunteer experiences.

I'm also pretty sure that I read every "Baby-sitters Club" book ten times plus growing up!
