Hi! My name is Sara. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a teaching certification in grades k-6. I have a beautiful 11-month old daughter. I have worked in a private Christian school for over two years. I worked with the 2 year olds, 3 year olds, and after schoolers. I have experience with children from birth-13yrs old. I have also worked in the church nursery which was owned by the school. I worked as a co-teacher in the 2nd grade classroom. I have done an internship in grades kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd Since leaving the school, I have been working as a part time babysitter. I have a I have a wonderful list of families that I have worked for and have become very close with. I am currently looking for a babysitting/nanny position. When I babysit for a family I am not just "a worker" I am a part of the family. I treat the children as they are my own and put their needs and safety first. All of the families I have worked for have loved me and have felt very comfortable and at ease leaving their children in my care. I have worked as a nanny and an occasional babysitter for five years while attending college and after graduating. I worked for the Chau family as a full-time nanny M-F 9-5. Their son was the same age as my daughter and were great playmates. I worked for the Adams family three days a week for ten months. Their son was four months when I started to nanny. His mom went back to work full-time and put him in daycare. I worked for the Giese family part-time for two years. Their family consist of a 3-year old, 10-year old, and two step-children ages 10 and 13.
