Bio
Hi,
I am available within a week's notice, I have over 5 years of Nanny experience, not including raising my own. Prior to that I have over 5 years of extensive Babysitting experience. I have been CPR Certified and have no problem getting re-certified. I can CPR certify within the first few months of the position or upon accepting a position with your family. I am available to cook, clean, run errands, as well as the laundry. I prefer work hours to be Mon-Fri, with occasional evenings and weekends. I am also available for travel, with the position. I just need a little advance notice, if possible. I also don't mind staying home if the children get sick, I can transport the children as needed, on a regular basis or as things come up, for example a doctor's appointment. Ok, Now A little about me: I Love kids, always have whether I'm their nanny or they're my own. I love to cook, read books, take pictures, and love to watch sports. I have six years of College under my belt, most recently a BA, I have also taken several psychology and early childhood development classes. In addition, I volunteer in my community and have a puppy, that my family and I just adore. I am dependable, reliable, honest, sincere and expect the same, in return. I am loving, caring, warm and pretty flexible in my duties. I am familiar with children ages infant to 13+.
Ok, Now for Hobbies and related Interests:
I love arts and crafts, making Halloween Costumes, and fixing a torn sock, or a torn pant leg. I love to read with or to the kids. I love to watch an occasional movie, make popcorn or a healthy snack, and find a good book to read to them during a storm. I like doing homework and helping them to figure it out, or making a fort and playing with them in it, or making one in the house if it's raining. I also love to bake with them, that is probably one of my favorites, aside from carving a pumpkin. Playing in the snow with them, having a snowball fight, to making Mr. Snow Man and Yes, I'll admit it making snow angels. What's Life If You Can't Enjoy it!
Additional information: My Individual Family Packages, range depending on what you and your families needs are. My rates are based on weekly and monthly packages, I don't do hourly rates, as I feel a Family Package is much more personal and I can offer a lot more in a package then an hourly rate. An hourly rate is also very impersonal and I am not comfortable with that with long term situations, which is what I prefer based on experience. Candidate's challenges of job: Considering how long I have been a Nanny and raising my own, there isn't too much. I would say my biggest challenge would be trying to work with parents of children with special needs, they require a little more patience and a little mreo reassurance.
Candidate's rewards of job: Spending time with Children is a gift, a very special gift I have been given, and I do it extremly well. The rewads I reap from being a Nanny is knowing I am making a difference in a child/children's life! To me that is the greatest gift of all!
