Hi!

I am a Sophomore at Emmanuel College. I am majoring in biology with concentrations in biochemistry and neuroscience and planning to go to medical school after college to become a pediatrician.

I worked in the infant room of a daycare my senior year of highschool and LOVED it. I spent most of my time in the Infant 1 room doing all sorts of activities. We did sign language and spanish (though I speak neither language... it was basic vocabulary), painted, experimented with different textures, sang silly songs, did tummy time, practiced our skills, read and played. When it was nice out in the summer we went on walks every day and did water play outside (and inside too sometimes, with a water table). I am a pro at feeding and changing babies!

 I also spent a lot of time in the Infant 2 through Toddler 2 rooms as well as some time in preschool and pre-k. For one of my classes senior year in highschool I went off campus twice a week to volunteer at a daycare for pre-school aged children. My junior year I taught CCD to a group of rowdy 4th graders so I have experience with a wide age range. I gained tons of experience and met a bunch of great kids.

I have no specific tutoring training but I am a good student and worked as a tutor for After the Bell my freshman year of high school. I am more than willing to help your children with their homework.

Currently I babysit Sam and Anna on Thursday afternoons and Riley on Friday evenings.

I love working with kids because I love to watch them grow and learn new things, especially young children because they are learning all the time. I like to help them learn but also have fun.

 I am certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR through March 28, 2008 and am willing to get re-certified if necessary.
