I have experience taking care of children since I was 14 years old. My sister was in the military for 20 years. When she got divorced, I lived with her for five years to help take care of my nephews. Living with her on a military base was a great experience for me because I was able to link myself to baby-sitting jobs. On the military base I baby-sat all age groups. I don't think there was a weekend when I didn't have baby-sitting to do. After I moved away to go to college, I baby-sat a little girl who was 3 years old. This was when I was living in North Carolina. Now that I am living in Tampa, I have only baby-sat three children for the last two years. But I was a nanny for 6 months and watched them 5 days a week.
I just love kids at all ages! Kids are just the apple to this world. You really don't truly know that until you have one of your own.
