I absolutely love kids.  I have been working with kids since I was in jr. high.  I've been babysitting for 10 years now, been a teacher in different children's programs at my church, nannied for kids in minnesota while attending college, worked like a nanny in an orphanage in mexico for 1 year, worked as teacher assistant in preschool/daycare for 1 year here in sacramento.

I think that it is important that kids are shown love and that they know fun, but also rules and schedules should be inforced to help guide and direct children.  I love to have kids outside, run, play, games, learning toys, etc.  Also to have a quiet time with the kids to read books, rest, take a nap, etc.

I am easy going and flexible.  I know quite a bit of Spanish since working in the orphanage and I play the piano.  Eventually I would love to go overseas and start a program for kids on the streets who don't have homes/parents, possibly an orphanage.

I just got home from Minnesota where I was working in a foster care home with children that have cerebral palsy.
