Thanks for taking a look at my profile! I would love to become an occasional sitter for your family. Additionally, I am transitioning to babysitting jobs that require a more mature, experienced, and responsible individual, such as, overnights, travel, baby nurse, and multiply family jobs! It has been almost 14 years since my first babysitting job and I would love to become your go to person for those special sitting jobs. Of course I would be happy to do regular sitting as well. I am very friendly and outgoing. Friends often describe me as witty, creative, and compassionate. I have a calm presence, and tend to have a calming effect on children. Children are truly a passion of mine. I have spent many years working and (playing!) with children and have a wide range of experiences. I have been watching children since I was 13. I have experience as a daycare worker, babysitter, household manager, nanny, mentor, tutor, and teacher’s aid. I have worked with autistic children, effectively taught English to African Refugees, and have done night nannying for infants. I love getting down to a child's level, and playing pretend games, putting on plays, and getting messy with a fantastic art project. I think laughter should be a part of every child's life as well as adults! I try to find laughter in almost every situation. I also think children should feel safe and have a loving environment at all times. The best attribute I posses as a nanny and babysitter, is simply my love for it.
