Child Care Provider - LAURA P. (User #2515)

Hello, and thank you for looking at my profile!

I'm a very experienced babysitter: I started at 11 as a mother's helper, and babysat/nannyed throughout highschool, then spent over a year between undergrad (BA in Comparative Literature from NYU) and graduate school (MA in Learning Sciences from Northwestern) nannying. I've worked with pretty much every age, and have sat for only children, two year old twins, and even two families that have four children.

Having completed my degree in Learning Sciences and a research project on reading comprehension, I am currently trying to build up my business as a tutor, but am still looking for occasional sitting jobs.  If you are interested in hiring a tutor, please look at my tutoring profile!

I am a creative and responsible babysitter who loves reading stories, playing games of make-believe, and engaging children--I don't have to be 'tutoring' for the children to be learning! I'm experienced enough that difficult situations do not faze me, but still love to be energetic and downright silly.
