I am a full-time Atlanta Christian College student, majoring in Early Childhood Education.  I have 7+ years experience babysitting, worked at the Lion Cubs Preschool for a half-year, and interned at Luella Elementary School as a teacher aide for 2 years.  

I have worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters, been a Daisy Girl Scout Leader, worked in youth ministry with middle school girls, and have now been working with the children's ministry for 4 years.  I also started a group at my church called Tweensters, which is a minstry for 4-6th graders, and I ran events annually, including Trick-or-Treat for Unicef, One Life Revolution, and 30 Hour Famine.  In high school I took two years of Early Childhood Education and a year of Intro to Teaching, and thus far in college I have taken Educational Foundations and Developmental Psychology for Early Childhood. 

When sitting, I am sure to show the kids an awesome time while helping them to learn.  I am creative and can come up with activities for a child based on their age group, and am patient enough to care for children with behavioral issues.  I love to have fun with kids, but am quick to be the adult in any situation.  I excell in academic and social activities, and I plan on becoming a 3rd grade teacher after college.
