Two years ago I taught at West Belden Charter School in Chicago in an after school program. I was the Improv and Comedy teacher for students ages five through thirteen. I have experience with one family for six years. It was great to be a part of their tribe as it grew. I have also done a lot of pet sitting for both dogs and cats. I love animals almost as much as people. I finished managing a retail store in Lakeview, Chicago in order to go back to school. I am also a makeup artist and have taught college age kids how to apply theatrical makeup. I'm an active person and tend to take my bicycle  places rather than public transport. I just moved to Portland in Early July 08. I actually landed my job here while I was still in Chicago as a teacher for Gymboree play and music.  I have the wonderful responsibility to teach infants and toddlers and their parents art, music and play. What's more, I teach the parents the develpomental advantages of each excercise. I love children, always have. We get each other. I like adventures and reading, so the TV stays off.
