Child Care Provider - RAVEN D. (User #32589)

I am a single mom and have just completed my Associate of Arts degree at North Seattle Community College. Before I continue on to a four-year university, I am working to save up and provide my daughter with a good education. I adore caring for children, and wish to open my home on a temporary basis for parents who need a night off, or need someone to care for their child because of an emergency. I have worked with people with disabilities, as a tutor and teacher's assistant, and am highly competent both at work and at home. My current work involves me with a diverse student population, and I am open to many family and parenting styles. I also frequently help out at my daughter's preschool in caring for the children or participating at teacher-parent discussions. If you're an alternative parent, I may be just what you're looking for, or if your child has special needs, I can easily make accommodations (my apartment, though, is *not* wheel chair accessible). I've been called a wonderful cook and can make meals from many different cultures (i.e. Italian, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Polynesian, Japanese) and also those for specific dietary needs (i.e. food allergies, organic, vegan, vegetarian, etc.). I am responsible and can be very goofy to entertain the children and my daughter (4 year old) who is a very social child who makes friends very easily with any new child. Since she usually sleeps in my bed, her bed is available for children who need to spend the night. Please consider me and my home when you need someone to give you a reprieve from the demands of parenting.
