Child Care Provider - PAULINE C. (User #34879)

Pauline was a great sitter, but then she had a family tragedy. Rather than telling our family that she just wasn't able to meet the obligation at this time she left us without a sitter more than three times without a phone call or notice. I understand family tragedy and was very patient while my child stayed in a less preferred situation for two weeks, when she assured me she would return and didn't that left me in a very vulnerable and disappointed position. It resulted in me having to take my child to work with me and I still have not heard back from her. While she is a lovely young lady and my son loved her, she has gone through a very tragic situation and I don't feel she is able to handle the responsibility of taking care of someone's most valued treasure, their child. If she had just made a few phone calls to me, I would have been put out but understanding. Unfortunately, she did not respect me or my child enough to do this. I would be leary. -- Kristina K.
