What I love most is kids, so now that mine are gone (my youngest is graduating from Harvard this June) I am taking care of yours.  I'm looking for a relationship where we agree to dates in advance.  I want to be your occasional, emergency or "extra duty" sitter as opposed to filling a need for a nanny.  I will happily work regular days, but want to schedule those with you on a calendar.  I'm a Mom-type, not a college-aged nanny.   I enjoy children and they seem to enjoy me.  I want to take care of your kids -- enjoy them and allow them to have their routine maintained when you aren't there.  My goal is to keep them safe and comfortable. If you have a schedule that requires planning for a sitter in advance, I'm well suited to that option.  I'm available to stay with your kids if you travel overnight or even on a vacation. Think of me when you would love to have a local grandparent or aunt who can help out -- but either you don't have one or don't want the scrutiny of getting ready for company.  When you have a business meeting and your regularly scheduled sitter is unavailable, call me.  I have a calendar on my own website and will happily book dates well in advance.
