Kelly M. - Dallas Babysitter

I am a full time student at the University of Texas at Dallas.  I am a graduate student in Communication Disorders.  Next May, 2010, I will receive my masters degree and be a Speech Language Pathologist.  I plan to work in pediatrics.  I have been babysitting since I was maybe 15, before I could even drive. I am an only child, and as a result, has always been interested in babysitting because I LOVE KIDS. Most recently, these past two summers, I have been nannying for a family in Prosper who has a little girl who just turned 3. The summer before her I was a nanny for a family in Carrollton, who had a little boy who was 15 months. So most recently, my experience has been with children 3 and under, which I absolutely love! But in high school I babysat mainly for a family who had four children ranging from 7 years to less than 1, so I have other age experience as well. The past two years I volunteered regularly at a local elementary school in Austin, helping underprivaleged children learn how to read, most of whom English was their second language. I have taken five years of Spanish in school, so I can speak Spanish fairly well, but not fluently. I live on the northeast edge of Farmers Branch, along the Addison city line, and I am willing to drive in most situations. If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a message.
