I specialize in infant care, and will grow with your family and your child into the toddler and preschool years. My current availability is primarily part time, but I am flexible times, and will work with your schedule if at all possible. I am CPR/First aid certified, and renew the certification every other year. I have a total of 10 years working independently with children, but have a lifetime of experience.

For the past 4 years I have specialized in infant care. I prefer starting a position as early as possible so I can create a bond before they develop stranger and separation anxiety. I have found this gives parents the most peace of mind. I believe in being active, going on walks, spending time at nearby parks, libraries, and any other nearby child friendly places. I am a good swimmer, and would be willing to take your child swimming if okay with you. When at home, we will play on the floor, work towards hitting milestones, and have fun dancing, singing, and listening to kid’s music. I habitually sign to the children in my care, so the children often pick up pre-linguistic communication skills. I will not turn on the tv while in your house.

I grew up in my mother’s home daycare, and currently work in it. Because of my longtime experience with baby’s and preschoolers, I instinctively know what they want and need. I have a natural knack for calming children and getting babies to sleep. I have often been reffered to as a baby whisperer, but the truth is I am just a calm person, which infant’s appreciate, and I know to look for the little signals that let me know what they need
