Child Care Provider and Nanny - JOYCE D. (User #38624)

 I am a young retired  (52 years young) DCFS State Licensed Child Care Provider and I have been caring for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years for the past 17 years. I have also worked as a nanny, and taught kids club and summer camp at Michaels Craft store. I am currently working for a number of families in the area providing daytime and night care so parents can run errands or just get out for a night. I have been fingerprinted and background checked through the Department of Children and Family Services and it is currently on file. I am a mother of 5 grown children ages 22-30 and I am the proud grandma of 5!  I am allergic to cats, but I am ok with certain dogs. I am cerified in First Aid and CPR. I  I have lots of references and photos of children that I have cared for. I am available on a first come first serve basis, but my availability is usually good with advance notice since my calander does fill quickily.

I have experience with asthma and allergies ( I live with both on a daily basis).

I feel like I have really been rambling, but it is very hard to get in all of your qualifications in an e-mail. I usually rely on parents and their children's gut instinct when meeting me to see if I am the person most qualified to care for your children. No questions are unreasonable.
