I have been babysitting for several years, and spent two months this past summer as a live-in nanny. I have worked with infants, twin 4-year-olds, and other children under the age of 12. I participate in a program at my high school, a preschool program in which the high schoolers, supervised by adult teachers, plan lessons according to the material for the preschool-age children. I love to be around children of any age. I hope to pursue a career involving children after college. Gender does not matter when it comes to babysitting children. I do not smoke, drink, or do drugs. I do not swear (in general, and especially not in front of children). I took a babysitting course at Beverly Hospital a few years ago.
