Hi Parents!

My name is Katie,

And I could be the next babysitter/nanny for you. Although I am currently working for a family here in St. Louis, it never hurts to keep my status updated—or potential options open. I moved here in July after quickly accepting the position, but occasionally feel like I maybe jumped in too soon. The family is kind and the children are darling, but I do feel like I am in more of a strict business arrangement than the friendly  partnership I grew accustomed to with my prior family.

Previously, I worked as a full time nanny for a family in Columbia, MO. There I had the enormous pleasure of watching two beautiful little girls grow up over the course of a year, but the time came to move away. 

My educational background starts in Cabot, AR where I was raised and worked as a babysitter and church nursery worker my last few years in High School. I was enrolled at Stephens College, in Columbia, from 2004 to 2007, graduating with a BFA in Theatre Arts in just three years and two summers. I did as much with my degree as I could in Columbia, but really need a larger city to find more theatrical opportunities. 

I am an energetic, outgoing, and caring individual. I love kids and hope to have my own one day! While in the theatre program timeliness, organization, and dependability were strongly emphasized, and since graduation I feel like I've taken a lot of that with me.

I don't smoke, love cats and dogs, and have a flexible schedule. If given the opportunity, I know I can make this the very best experience for you possible, because I am confident in myself, and in my child-caring skills and know that once you know me, you will be too!
