Elyse B. - Staten Island Babysitter

Hi, my name is Elyse. I am studying to be an elementary school teacher. I have experience baby-sitting, and have worked in a day care center with 2-5 year olds for the past 2 years. The only reason I cannot keep that job anymore is because there is a scheduling conflict since I have to go to school and they need somebody full time. I have experience tutoring reading to young children. I am willing to change diapers, help with homework, pick a child up from school, etc... At the day care center where I previously worked, I was usually the sole teacher there for the after school program, so I have experience with babysitting up to 10 children by myself. I really enjoy being around children of any age, and I know I could do a great job for you and your child. I love to do arts and crafts, and if your child/children like(s) that, I can do that with them whenever they want. I believe in playing fun, safe games with the children I babysit, and they will have a great time with me. My only problem is that I am pretty allergic to cats, so I cannot be around them at all. Dogs are better, and I can be around them for short periods of time without getting sick, but if I am going to be in your house for many hours, although I absolutely love animals, I would rather there be no pets, for my own health. In short, I have tons of experience with child care, and would love to baby-sit for your child/children. If you want more references, I would be happy to provide them.
