My name is Yana Thaker and I have lived in Philadelphia for 5 years. This year I graduated from Drexel University with a degree in biology. Now I am working as a research scientist at a small biotechnology company in University City. I have never been a part of any nanny or babysitting network and my only experience comes from helping to take care of my sister’s 4 children (now ages 17 to 5). I absolutely adore children and hope to have my own someday. As a recent graduate I have massive student debt so I wanted to find a second job that I would love and could do at random times. I am an extremely reliable person. Not only do I have a full-time job but I am also a hospice care volunteer. I provide emotional support to patients and families that are on hospice care. In the near future I hope to go to either medical or graduate school.
