Hello Parents! I recently graduated from Illinois State University with a special education degree. Since then, I have relocated to the Indianapolis area and am loving it here! Here, I am employed full time as a therapist for young children with autism. Teaching is the perfect job for me because I love being around children all day. I began babysitting about seven years ago when I was in High School. I have also worked at a residential camp for children and adults with disabilities. I was responsible for catering to all of my campers needs including bathing, changing, feeding, putting to bed, etc. In addition to that, I have a wide range of educational experience from tutoring individual students to teaching whole classes. I have experience with typical children as well as children with special needs.

Kate was exceptionally great! My children LOVED her and she did a great job of playing with them as well as putting them to bed. My children are 4 and 6 years old and the next morning they told me how great she was and all of the fun games they played. I felt very good about leaving my children with her and would ask her to sit for us again. :+) -- Dawn M.
