I'm originally from upstate New York and recently moved to San Francisco from San Diego. After graduating from Syracuse University with a dual major in sociology and public relations in May 2006 I decided I was ready for new challenges and experiences and relocated to San Diego after the summer. During my three years in San Diego I worked for Scripps Health, a nonprofit health care system doing public relations and I regularly cared for the families of many of my colleagues and their friends through referrals.

Children have always been a big part of my life. I have attended and volunteered at safety, athletic, theatrical, overnight and day camps; coordinated birthday parties at a "kids zone" center; and taught the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program to kids of all ages for seven years. I have a lot of great experience and truely enjoy spending time with children.

I have been described as engaging, caring and fun, and have been consistently told I am a "natural" when it comes to children.
