Child Care Provider and Nanny - KELLY H. (User #648166)

   I love children and have the experience with them that allows me to be very patient, kind, loving, and consistant. I started "babysitting" at 12, most often for the fostercare children in my own home (my parents started the National Foster Parents Assoc in the 70's) and continued throughout my school years.

   I have worked Professionally as a Housemanager/Nanny for the past 20 years, the most recent position for 1 family for 10 years (2 boys from birth to present ages 9 & 6) and loved my job. The boys called me Khaki (they "named me"), and saw me as a favored caretaker. I was very clear with them that I was there to care for them at their parents request, and I would adhere to their parents rules, but that loving them was something I chose to share with them.

   I am capable (and certified) as a Household Manager, meaning I am proficient in all aspects of running a professional home. I am able to perform all funtions a home requires and am able to do this efficently, from Childcare to Cooking & Cleaning, to managing staff and vendors. 

  I have always felt most comfortable in a situation of helping others in any way I can. I love what I do and take great pride in the way I present myself. I am very flexible in my schedule as I am single and have 2 grown children in college.
