I am really interested in a nanny position because I love working with children. I have three younger brothers (5, 6, and 7) who I have helped my parents raise since I was 12 years old. It was a great experience but I no longer live with either of my parents, so I don't get to see my brothers as much as I would like to. Taking care of children is something that I am very good at and really enjoy, even though you have your bad moments (but it's part of the experience!). I would like you to know that I am CPR certified for infants and adults. I have also taken 12 hours of infant/toddler training and a few more classes at Children's Council of SF. I would also like to mention that I'm currently working for a family. I have been working with this family since December 2008. Their daughter was 5 months old when I started and is now 15 months. I know you're probably wondering, why am I looking for another job? Well, the family is moving in November and that is why I'm looking for a new position. I also baby-sit for another family but it's not full-time. I also started in December when their son was 18 months and now he's 28 months. This is only a few times a month in the evenings. I may not have years of professional experience but how can I gain experience if no one is willing to give me a chance?
