Amanda O. - McKees Rocks Babysitter

I graduated from West Allegheny Senior High in 2004. I know reside in Kennedy Township with my mother. In high school, I was involved in competitive cheerleading, coaching cheerleading, my high school varsity cheerleading squad, varsity soccer where i was rewarded captain, and different clubs throughout high school. I attended Wingate University in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I majored in Psychology and History. I am a member Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity, and held the following positions: Vice President of Financials and Vice President of Chapter Life. While in school, I volunteered at a local Battered Womens Shelter and tutored the children after school, I read to children in a local elementary school, and was involved in many philanthropy events for children and families in need. I am now currently attending Duquesne University for my certification in Secondary Social Studies and my masters in Education. This is my last semester and then I begin student teaching in the spring. I'm very excited to being student teaching because I have been given the opportunity to complete 9 weeks of it in Rome, Italy.  I am very energetic and believe in having fun and laughing. I love the outdoors and all sports. Also, I love learning. I have all my clearances!
