Bio
Hello! My name is Regina, I am 26 years old and have a lot of experience caring for children of all ages and in a variety of settings. I have been a sitter, tutor, nanny/mother's helper periodically over the last 8 years. I am bilingual and recently moved to Los Angeles to attend graduate school. After graduating from college with a degree in Art History I worked at the San Diego Children's Museum as the studio arts coordinator, where I had daily interaction with large groups of children in a very creative setting. I have been a babysitter for family friends, acquaintances, and neighbors with children of all ages. I volunteered at the San Diego Children's Hospital for over 5 years, where I played games, directed art activities, and entertained patients and siblings in a variety of ways. I have considerable experience babysitting up to 4 children at a time, from the ages of 1 month to 12 years old. While babysitting I like to engage in outdoor activities and sports, as well as apply my artistic background with fun-filled, creative activities. I love to read with children and engage in activities that foster imagination and exploration. Additionally, I have tutoring experience of over 6 years. I've tutored on a variety of subjects including reading & writing, science, spanish (I'm a native spanish speaker), and math. I have tutoring experience in all grades- including high school- so whatever the age and school level, I can help! Most recently, I worked for a family with three boys, ages 8, 6 and 2, for which I picked up the kids from school, tutored them, and engaged in a lot of fun, age-appropriate activities. I also recently worked as a mother's helper for a family with two young children, ages 2 and 2 months. I assisted the mother in everything from picking up the toddler from day care, to running errands, play dates, baths, and everything else that comes with taking care of young children! So, without making this any longer than it is, I hope to have given you a brief idea about who I am as a sitter and how I may be a good fit for your family's needs. I love being with children and easily bond/create relationships with them. I am very caring, fun, responsible, reliable and engaging, so hope I can speak to you further about your child care needs!
