Bio

I am currently a 3rd year USF student, and I have lived in the Tampa area since 2006. Originally I am from Oldsmar, FL. I come from a 2-parent home and have 1 older sister who I consider to be my best friend.

Over the summer semester, my schedule is very flexible. Starting the week of May 11th, I am taking one class Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8-10am. I am not currently employed by a business, so if you are to hire me, you and your children would be my top priority.

I have done a few different types of babysitting. When I was in high school, every Monday I would go to my church and watch the children whose parents were teaching/volunteering in the CCD program. I have also babysat for a family with 2 boys under the age of 10 but are willing to care for kids of all ages! 

The organizations I am currently a part of:

  1. NSSLHA (National Student Speech Language & Hearing Association): This is an organization in which my peers and I volunteer with children in the Tampa Bay area with speech problems or mental disabilities.
  2. Big Brothers & Big Sisters: I am currently a Big Sister to a 7 year old boy and have been for 6 months. I thoroughly enjoy it and we have grown extremely close.
  3. Reach Out and Read: Last semester, I would go to the USF Hospital on Davis Island to read to children waiting to see the doctor. I think reading is very important for kids of all ages and convey that to everyone I can.
