Babysitter - APRIL Z. (User #7634)

Hello there! My name is April Zay and I am 21 years old. I just moved to El Cerrito from San Diego, CA. and I live with my Aunt, Uncle and 4 year old Cousin, Shane. I am very interested in providing childcare for families in the bay area. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a violinist, playing for almost 12 years. I also play; String Bass, Guitar, Viola, Cello, Percussion instruments- including auxiliary percussion, and I can play piano by listening to the song and figuring it out. I read all 4 clefs; Tenor, Bass, Alto, Treble as well. I have been working with kids since I was 3 years old. My grandma had a home daycare and I remember feeding children, playing with them, and watching how my grandma interacted with them. I love children and am in college to become a Elementary Teacher. I currently work for the Berkeley/Albany YMCA M-F 1pm-6pm and I am looking for some morning hours or occasional evening hours.... those parents nights out are a plus!! I am Energetic, Outgoing, enthusiastic, love adventures (BART rides, Zoo, Walks... the little things in life), Family orientated, intellectually stimulating, Smart, FUN and would treat your children like they were mine. I have references of nanny positions, YMCA references and my past store management positions at your request. I even have a resume, letters of recommendations, and references #'s for your immediate review. I am CPR/ FIRST AIDE certified, TB tested, Completed physical, Fingerprinted by the state and federal government (YMCA), Legal citizen, Speak Spanish as my 2nd language, will undergo a back ground check for you- if you wish, and I have a car-valid CDL-AAA insurance.
