In 2002, I started working at a daycare center in Cambridge, MA as a work-study student. In 2003, I found myself at a Harvard affiliated child care center where I worked for a total of 4 years. At the Harvard affiliated child care center, I was a floating teacher for a few years, gaining experience working with children ages 3 months to 5 years old. This past year, I had the opportunity to be in the infant room before moving to New York for grad school and I have to say that I truely had the best job in the world. Words can't possibly describe both the joys and challenges of working with infants who are now toddlers. I miss the children terribly and hope to spend time with infants/toddlers on a part time basis while I pursue my Masters in Social Work.
