Maria H. - Greenbrae Babysitter

Maria has been regularly looking after our young baby boy for the last few months - we don't know who loves her more, us or him! She is absolutely fantastic with him, so patient, gentle and caring. He always has the biggest smile for her when she arrives and as soon as she walks through the door she wants to take him out of my arms - which as any disheveled mom will tell you, is heavenly after a full day with an active 8 month old! She is extremely capable, bright and very trustworthy. We are moving from California to Miami and will miss Maria greatly. -- Nadine K.

Maria has been taking care of our son since April 2009. He absolutely adores her. We have been quite happy with her care. Maria is extremely loving, fun, safety-oriented, responsible, always on time, follows directions and a schedule easily, and she's been endlessly patient with our son. Maria has been able to get him to sleep well for his naps, and she will sit with him while he slowly, slowly eats his meals without getting frustrated. Maria seems to genuinely enjoy spending time around babies/toddlers. She always tells us what she and our son have done that day, and she takes notes for us about his eating/sleeping. She's been flexible with our work schedules and Maria's been willing to watch our son for special occasions and on weekends when we've asked. She's great! -- Rachel L.
