Bio
I am a fun, energetic, outgoing and happy 23 year old graduate from the University of Washington. I have been watching and caring for children for over 10 years, and have never enjoyed any other work experience more. I am very interested in child developement, and have a lot of experience with infants that includes teaching baby sign language, and developing sleep/eating patterns. I also have watched children of all other ages, and have been told many times by different parents that I am their child's favorite caregiver.
Throughout highschool and college I have nannied for families that I have developed close relationships with. I have been trusted to stay overnight with their children, drive them to various places, prepare meals (with particular concern for food allergies in one family), and care for their general well being. I feel fortunate to have worked with families that understand the importance of good parenting, and have trusted me to care for their family.
Children are naturally drawn to me; I think because I can be playful and have fun with them while establishing boundaries for safety and learning. I am naturally a very warm, nurturing, and giving person, which I think is essential to working with kids.
I am looking for a family that I can have a close relationship with. I have been fortunate in the past to become part of the families that I have nannied for, and I think that it is important to have open communication so that the style of parenting is consistant between parents and the nanny. I would love to meet you and your family to see if we are a good match!
*Note: My certification for CPR/First Aid for children has expired, but I understand if this is an important qualification for your family, and would be happy to renew!
