My name is Jamie and I live in the North Culver City area. I moved to LA last year after graduating from Chapman University. I am a television editor and am looking for a few additional hours of work each week. Although I have no children of my own, I have 10 years experience babysitting and nannying. I have sat for all age ranges, but I would have to say my favorite to sit is the 2-6 range. Children at this age are usually bursting with energy, craving play time, and very inquisitive. I find this a very refreshing attitude to be around. I enjoy getting involved in the children's playtime, not just sitting back and watching. Getting outdoor activities (sports, tag, hide and seek) going is very important to me. I love incorporating teaching (colors, letters, math) into play time and reading stories. I like to create craft and artistic opportunities for children to get involved in. All in all, I am very good at determining child's abilities and interests and getting involved in them.

8 Years as a Babysitter
I have been babysitting since I was 12. I have sat for almost every amalgamation of child personalities and ages thinkable. Every house has it's own unique needs, and I have learned to adapt and thrive in each.
2 Years as a Nanny
