My name is MISSY.  I have

  • worked in child care for about 7 years
  •          lots of experience with babysitting,
  • four years of teaching in a competitive child-care agency,
  •              and one year of nannying. 

I am a very personable individual ... very passionate, patient and caring when it comes to working with children!  I recently graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in Educational Studies: Leadership in Youth-Serving Organizations, and hope to someday work in a great non-profit in the Milwaukee Area that gives back to the families and children. 

 In my free time I enjoy volunteering at various non-profits, swimming, exploring the many aspects of Milwaukee and furthering my knowledge.

Work Experience

3 Years as a Babysitter
Babysat for various families in the Appleton Area. Ages ranged from 6months - 12yrs old and from 1 child to as many as 5 children. Most families I enjoyed doing many different out door activities with and helped expand the children's creativity.
4 Years as a Nanny
I actually was a head teacher at a competitive child care agency in the Milwaukee Area. I implemented daily activities for children ages 3yrs to 12yrs old. Made sure the children were receiving one on one time as well as team-work/creativity.
2 Years as a Mother's Helper
Was the nanny for 3 girls ages 14 months, 4 and 7. Most days included picking the girls up from school, helping with their homework, creating healthy snacks, and planning exciting day trips. Also cared for a 9month to 13month old.
