I believe every child deserves to be heard and acknowledged. Giving kids space and permission to explore their unique talents along with lots of encouragement and enthusiasm is my strong suit. I make an extra effort to connect with children and to create a safe and loving space where they may express themselves. Play time together is very important as it brings aliveness and creativity both to the child and the care-giver. It also builds trust and gives the child a sense that the care-giver understands them. Although children enjoy a sense of freedom in my care, they are very clear that when they hear "no" it's authentic and non-negotiable.

Tamara was a wonderful caregiver for our 10 month old son (now 13 mos old) for over a month. She helped him transition to trusting another kind soul for his daily routine. Tamara gives of herself wholeheartedly and it was immediately apparent that she and our son would share a tight bond. She was creative in her activities and was diligent about telling me all the happenings of the day, which made me feel present. She was able to intuit our son's needs and meet them appropriately. She is responsible and mature, yet will play on the floor for silly-time without a second thought. She also gave loving care to our dog, who I'm sure still misses her. Due to subsequent extended help from family, our time with Tamara was limited. Anyone will be lucky to entrust Tamara with the care of their children! -- Audra N.
