Child Care Provider and Nanny - SARAH F. (User #983153)

Hi! My name is Sarah Forte. I live in Sacramento, CA. The majority of my career/experience has been with children in a wide variety of settings. For three years I was a tutor in over 10 elementary school classrooms. I've also been a teacher in a daycare as well as a preschool in addition to babysitting two children in frequently. I have a B.A. in Liberal Studies (Teaching) (and a Masters degree also related to teaching English as a language).

I enjoy children and their unique zest for life and learning. I try to let them be themselves within pre-established boundaries and guidelines. It is most important to show them that I care for them and who they are as well as what accomplishments they have done. When they mess up or make bad choices outside of the pre-established boundaries/guidelines (that you as the parent deem important) I redirect them, focusing on how they are capable of making the right choice, instead of discouraging them for making the undesirable choice. I am flexible to work with you to be a part of raising your child(ren) according to your core values. I do not have children that I would bring. I am willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, if desired. I am somewhat flexible in the evening hours (6 pm to 9 pm) though not on a regular basis. Thanks for reading!
